The Wedding ofYang Wei&Yen
Mark your calendars and get ready for a weekend full of laughter, memories, and a few happy tears.
How it all started
In 2016, we were practically neighbors. We both lived in Ikejiri, the best neighborhood in Tokyo, barely 100 meters from each other, and somehow we never crossed paths.
It took until 2019, and a few mutual friends, for us to finally meet. Back then Yen had her mind pretty made up. She wanted to move to Singapore as soon as she could, she was convinced Japanese sake was terrible, and ramen wasn’t her favorite either.
Then COVID happened, and leaving Japan was no longer an option. I like to think it gave me a little more time with her. We spent countless hours together, went on trips, and slowly I convinced her that Japanese sake, ramen and myself deserved a chance.
Fast forward to today: we’ve moved to Singapore, and ramen still isn’t her favorite. But somewhere along the way, we became each other’s favorite.
And now, we’d love to gather our favorite people from all over the world to celebrate with us.
